Nick Trotter is a creativity coach and multimedia artist.

I do a lot of disparate stuff.

You probably came here looking for one particular aspect of my work. Read on!

The main gig is theater.

I have been performing in professional settings for over four decades.

I have an MFA in Ensemble-Based Physical Theatre from Dell’Arte International in Blue Lake, California, and have studied and trained at New York University (Tisch School of the Arts, Playwrights Horizons Theater School), at the Gardienice Center for Theater Practices in Lublin, Poland, and elsewhere.

I’m the founder of Circo de Nada, a Denver-based theater, puppetry and music project, and perform locally as the Red-Nose Mu.

I currently teach improv and physical theater both independently and at Rise Comedy.

My current main project is leading improv workshops for businesses: EnCompass Improv.

My team and I offer team-building, creativity coaching, and other ways of incorporating an improvisational mindset into the workplace. We also provide comedy shows for corporate events.

As a self-employed, artistic jack-of-all-trades, I’ve got a lot of irons in the fire. Ongoing projects include Clown and Mask classes, theater performances, some musical work, and a podcast.
